On your PC. Memories, notes, tasks, and reminders are files in your user profile. Only the request a feature needs goes to the cloud models.

Does Incognito erase what AYO already saved?

No. Incognito pauses new memories, screen looks, and saved chat for that session. To erase, delete memories in the Lore Web.

AYO is built that way. Say "remember…" and AYO saves the fact in a file on your PC. The Lore Web shows everything it remembers as a 3D map where you can delete one memory or everything, and Incognito (Ctrl+Shift+P) pauses new memories, screen looks, and saved chat for a session.

What stays on your PC

Wake-word detection, your saved memories, notes, tasks, reminders, and settings. Chat history stays on your PC unless Incognito is on. AYO’s servers log timing and ids, not your chats.

What leaves, and when

Your voice clip goes out only after you talk, so it can be turned into words. A screen picture goes out only when you ask something that needs one. The model vendors see the question you sent, not a copy of your disk.

You can see and edit the memory

The Lore Web is a 3D map of what AYO remembers, in rings: Active Now, Core Memory, Recent Memory, and Archive. Promote, archive, or delete any memory, or delete everything.

What to know first

AYO is local-first, not fully offline: answers come from cloud AI models.
